Acceptable Use & Outreach Compliance

LeadMapz, a product of Optimum IT Solutions, is a business research and outreach tool. These rules are part of our Terms & Conditions and exist to keep your outreach lawful.

You must not

  • Contact anyone for an unlawful, deceptive, harassing or misleading purpose.
  • Use the data for consumer marketing, credit, employment, insurance or tenancy decisions.
  • Resell or publish raw exports as a standalone data product without your own lawful basis.
  • Scrape or overload sites outside the tools we provide, or bypass rate limits and credit controls.
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to access other customers' data, or probe our security.
  • Share one login between several people, or pass approved access to an unapproved person.

    • Calling and texting

  • UK: screen against the TPS and CTPS, follow PECR, identify yourself and give a contact number, and honour opt-outs immediately.
  • EU: follow ePrivacy and national opt-out or opt-in registers in the country you are calling.
  • US: follow the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry and state registers; no autodialled or pre-recorded calls to mobiles without the required consent; call only between 8am and 9pm in the recipient's local time.
  • Canada: follow CASL and the National DNCL.
  • Australia: follow the Do Not Call Register Act and the Spam Act.

    • The portal shows each lead's local time so you can stay inside lawful calling hours.

    Email

    Marketing email must identify the sender, give a real postal address and a working unsubscribe that you action within the legal deadline. In the UK and EU, business-to-business email relies on legitimate interests and must still offer an opt-out on every message.

    Call recording

    Only record where it is lawful. In two-party consent jurisdictions you must announce the recording and obtain agreement before continuing. You are responsible for storing recordings securely and deleting them when no longer needed.

    Opt-outs and suppression

    Add every do-not-contact request to the suppression list straight away. Suppressed records stay suppressed permanently so they cannot re-enter a pipeline through a later search.

    Enforcement

    We may warn, restrict features, suspend or close an account that breaches this policy, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from regulators. Report abuse to hello@leadmapz.com.
