Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These terms form the agreement between you and LeadMapz when you create an account or use any part of the service. By signing up you accept them.

1. Who we are

LeadMapz is a product of Optimum IT Solutions ("we", "us") and provides software for finding, enriching and managing business contact records. You can reach us at hello@leadmapz.com. Formal notice details can be requested at that address. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

2. Accounts and approval

Accounts are for business use. You must give accurate details, keep your password private and take responsibility for everything done under your login. New accounts can sign in immediately but some tools stay locked until an administrator approves the account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service or puts us at legal risk.

3. Credits, plans and payment

  • One credit equals one lookup. New accounts start with 20 free lookups.
  • Plan prices and per-lookup prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.
  • Credits included with a plan are for use during that billing period and do not transfer on cancellation.
  • Credits reserved for a search that fails or returns nothing are returned to your balance.
  • Prices exclude VAT or local sales tax unless stated. Taxes are added where required.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

    4. Your responsibilities when using the data

We give you tools that collect information from public sources. You decide who you contact and why, and you are the controller of the contact data you build up. You must comply with the laws that apply to you, including UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules, the US TCPA and state telemarketing laws, CAN-SPAM, Canada's CASL and equivalent rules elsewhere. That includes screening against do-not-call registers, honouring opt-outs promptly, identifying yourself on calls and emails, and keeping to lawful calling hours in the recipient's local time.

Call recording is only lawful with the consent required in the relevant jurisdiction. Where two party consent applies, you must tell the other person and obtain agreement before recording.

    5. Acceptable use

The separate Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In short: no unlawful, deceptive, harassing or high-volume automated abuse, no reselling raw exports as a data broker product without your own lawful basis, and no attempts to break our security or exceed your plan by technical means.

    6. Availability and third-party sources

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Results come from third-party sources such as mapping providers, search indexes and public registers; we cannot guarantee that every record is accurate, complete or current. Verify before you rely on a record for an important decision.

    7. Intellectual property

We own the software, interfaces and branding. You own the lead records and notes you create in your account. You grant us only the licence needed to host and process that content so we can run the service for you.

    8. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data or indirect losses, and our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

    9. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may end the agreement for material breach, unlawful use or non-payment. On closure you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete or anonymise it except where we must keep records for legal reasons.

    10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the portal before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
